Here is a list of answers to some common questions that you may find helpful. I am sure you will have more that are not covered in the text below. Take advantage of our FREE services. Call or email us! There is never a charge for this time. I look forward to meeting and talking to the wonderful people that make my job SO enjoyable.

Why STAR DJ?: STAR DJ ENTERTAINMENTS will make your event one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences of your life. We are a small company that will pay close attention to exactly how you would like your event to go. People always comment on how personable and fun we are and how everyone enjoyed the music and what a great time they had.
Do you have experience?: Doug has over 25 years of combined musical experience. We have done everything from Weddings, Jack & Jills, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Anniversary Parties and so on. We have hosted parties in amazing facilities all over the state of Connecticut.
What will you wear at the event?: For a formal event a tuxedo will be worn. Appropriate attire will be worn for a casual event.

What type of music do you provide and will you play requests?: Your Star DJ will play all types of music. We design the musical selections around the music you've selected. WE WANT YOUR INPUT! The more you put into the musical choices, the more successful the event will be. WE ENCOURAGE REQUESTS!
What kind of equipment do we use?: We have a few different DJ systems. We update our equipment and music regularly. Currently we have Numark and Bi Amp mixers, BGW Amps, Celestian and Sampson Speakers. We use Telex wireless microphones and Shure wired Microphones.
Do you have back-up equipment?: We have three complete sets of back-up equipment along with music.
Will you be the DJ of the event?: YES. I will be the DJ performing at the event.
When will you arrive for the event?: The DJ will arrive an hour before the event. You will not be charged for this time.
Will we meet you before the event?: We encourage a personal meeting with your DJ. This will allow you to get to know your DJ and us to know you. It is also a good time to discuss how you would like the event to go.

Never have music to loud! Make sure guests can carry out a conversation over the music. Especially during dinner!
